Adding a Quick Contact

A Quick Contact is an easy way to add someone to your address book. You can always add additional information at a later time.

To add a Quick Contact, click on Quick Contact on the Address Book menu.

The Quick Add Contact window will open.

Enter the contact information for your new contact.

In the Assign to field, select the name of the primary owner of this contact. The Edit access and View access will reflect your default settings..

These can be changed at a later time by editing the contact.

Click on Save to save this contact into your Address Book

Adding a Contact

The Add Contact window will allow you to add more detailed information about the new contact.

To add a new contact, click on Add Contact on the Address Book menu.

The Add Contact window will open.

Enter the contact information for your new contact.

  • Assign to: select the name of the primary owner of this contact.
  • Access to: select who will have edit/delete rights to this contact.
  • Share with: select who will be able to view this contact.
  • Birthday enter the birthday for this contact. The birthday will appear on the main calendar and the Contacts section of the home page.
  • Anniversary enter the anniversary for this contact. The anniversary will appear on the main calendar and the Contacts section of the home page.
  • Picture click on Browse to locate a picture of the contact.
  • Tags enter a tag so you can easily find this contact later.

Click on the Address Details and Communications Details tabs to enter additional information for this contact.

Click on Save to save this contact into your Address Book.

Deleting a Contact

To delete a contact from the contact list, check the box next to the contact(s) you wish to delete.

Click on More… > Delete Selected on the Address Book menu.

A confirmation window will open.

Click on OK to confirm the deletion.

Tagging Contacts

To add a tag to a contact, check the box next to the contact(s) you wish to tag.

Click on More… > Tag Selected on the Address Book menu.

A menu will open with your existing tags. You can select an existing tag or create a new tag.

Untag Selected

To add a remove tag from a contact, check the box next to the contact(s) you wish to untag.

Click on More… > Untag Selected on the Address Book menu.

A window will open with your existing tags. Choose the tag you wish to delete and click on Save.

Managing Contact Details

To view a contact’s details, locate and select a contact in your contact list.

The contact will appear in the Contact Details window.

To view additional details, click on the Personal Details tab. You can send an e-mail directly from the contact record by clicking on a hyperlinked (blue underlined) e-mail address in the contact details window.

Editing Contact Details

Locate and select a contact in your contact list.

Click on Edit from the Contact Details menu.

The Edit Contact window will open.

Make any changes you wish to make in the Edit Contact window.

Click on Save to save your changes.

Deleting a Contact

Locate and select a contact in your contact list.

Click on Delete from the Contact Details menu.

A confirmation window will appear.

Click on Yes to confirm the deletion.

Printing a Contact

Locate and select a contact in your contact list.

Click on Print from the Contact Details menu.

A new browser window will open with the contact information.

Click on File > Print from your browser menu to print the form.

Inviting a Contact

You can invite contacts to join your Famundo site as a member, with special viewing rights. Members can see items you have made View access: Members. They will not have edit or delete rights.

To invite a contact to become a member, locate and select a contact in your contact list.

Click on Invite from the Contact Details menu.

The Send an Invitation menu will open.

Click on Invite to send the invitation.
