Add an Event
Famundo has a number of pre-defined event types that are family specific.

Click on Add Event from the Main Calendar menu. 
Select a predefined event type or choose Other from the dropdown list.
The Schedule Event window will open. 
Start at: Enter the date and time the event starts or click on the calendar icon to bring up a selectable calendar.
Famundo understands Natural Language so you can quickly and easily enter the start and end date and time for an event as if you were to speak it. Here is an example of a Natural Language entry: To schedule an event for today at 5:00 PM, type in today@5p. For more information see Natural Language
All Day: Check this box if you are scheduling an all day event.
Ends at: Enter the date and time the event ends or click on the calendar icon to bring up a selectable calendar or typing in Natural Language.
Remind me: Check this box if you wish to have a reminder sent to you in the method you defined in the Personal Details window. If this box is checked, a new field will open where you can specify when you want the reminder sent.
Event repeats: If this is a recurring event, select the frequency from the drop-down box.

Schedule for: whose calendar will this appear on? You can select yourself, another member, multiple members or the entire family.
Driving time: you can select a time interval to allow for driving time to a destination.
Assigned driver: you can select a Member as a driver. The event will also appear on the Member’s calendar.
Description: enter a description of the event.
Location: enter the location of the event.
Enter the address of the event in the Location field to have a Map or Driving Directions displayed. See Google Maps
Edit access: determines who will be able to edit or delete an event.
- Private (Assigned to Only): means that only you and any assigned member will be able to edit or delete.
- Parents: means that any Parent will be able to edit or delete.
- Parents and Adult Kids: means that any Parent or Adult Children will be able to edit or delete.
- Family: means that anyone in the Family will be able to edit or delete.
View access: determines who will be able to see the event, inside or outside your organization.
- No One(Not Shared): means that only you and any assigned member will be able to view.
- Parents: means that any Parent will be able to view.
- Parents and Adult Kids: means that any Parent or Adult Children will be able to view.
- Family: means that anyone in the Family will be able to view.
- Family and Friends Only: means that anyone you invite as a Friend will be able to view.
- Public (Everyone): means that anyone who visits your public pages can view.
No event can have more open access than the calendar it is assigned to. For example, if an event is assigned to a calendar with View access equal to Parents, that event cannot have more open View access, such as Parents and Adult Kids, Family, Family and Friends Only, or Public (Everyone). However, the event can have View access of Private.
Notes: enter any additional information about the event. The Notes field supports RTF (Rich Text Formatting) which means that you can format text with bold, italics, colors and add hyperlinks. To use RTF, click on Switch to rich text. View a movie tutorial on Attaching a Website to an Event
Display on: select the member’s calendar this event will appear on.
Tags: you can assign a category to an event for quick future searches.
- Type the tag you want to assign to the event.
- Tags will “auto-complete”, so once you add a new tag it will appear the next time you start typing in the word in the tag field.
Attach Document: any file that is stored in your Family Library can be linked to any event.

To link a document to an event, click on Attach Documents in the Add Event window.
The Attach Document window will open. 
Browse and check the box next to the desired document.
Click OK to attach the document to the event. The attached document will appear in the Documents area of the main calendar view when the event is visible in the visible calendar.
Click on *Add to add the event.
You can create a calendar on the fly by clicking on the Add new calendar link.
